This site is a collaborative professional learning platform that offers teachers, students and parents a growing library of high-quality, digital resources developed by expert teachers directly from the Common Core State Standards.

This initiative grew out of the Noyce Foundation's Silicon Valley Mathematics Initiative (SVMI) and the First in Mathematics Consortium (FiMC). SVMI and FiMC are based on high performance expectations, ongoing professional development, examining student work, and improved math instruction. The initiatives include a formative and summative performance assessment system, pedagogical content coaching, and leadership training and networks. Coaches learn strategies of re-engagement with students around mathematics assessments, and demonstration lessons on re-engagement are featured.

MAP is a collaboration between the University of California, Berkeley and the Shell Center team at the University of Nottingham, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The site includes formative assessment lessons complete with instructions and resources. There are two types of formative assessment lessons; problem solving and concept development lessons.

This site is designed to illuminate the vision for school mathematics described in NCTM's Principles and Standards for School Mathematics. The examples contained within it span the entire K-12 range. This resource includes:

Every Mathalicious lesson is aligned to the Common Core State Standards. In fact, most lessons connect multiple content standards, and help build deep conceptual understanding through real-world contexts.

Storytelling gives us a framework for certain mathematical tasks that is both prescriptive enough to be useful and flexible enough to be usable. Many stories divide into three acts, each of which maps neatly onto these mathematical tasks.

Yummy Math was created to provide teachers with an easy way to bring real-life into their math classrooms. It is their belief that when math is explored in contexts that are familiar and of interest to students, students will be more engaged to do math, reason, think critically, question and communicate. The activities are written to correspond with the NCTM Process Standards and the CCSS Standards for Mathematical Practice.

In an effort to identify and shine a spotlight on emerging exemplars, Achieve established a process to select and train the EQuIP Peer Review Panel, a group of experienced reviewers to evaluate the quality and alignment of lessons and units to the CCSS. The EQuIP Peer Review Panel is using the EQuIP Rubrics and quality review process to evaluate the instructional materials for CCSS-alignment and quality. The objective is not to endorse a particular curriculum, product or template, but rather to identify lessons and units that best illustrate the cognitive demands of the CCSS.

Khan Academy is a not-for-profit internet-based website that provides educational resources in the content areas of math, science, and the humanities. All of the site's resources are available to anyone; students, teachers, home-schoolers, administrators, adult learners and parents. Khan Academy's materials and resources are available completely free of charge.

This site contains a variety of lessons and resources that show mathematics in real world contexts. Each lesson begins with a guiding question that begins these problem-based lessons. The site also contains pedagogical resources on questing and implementing problem-based learning.

The Mathematics Vision Project is an educator-driven initiative built from the Common Core and a focus on learning progressions. This complete Math I, II, and III curriculum is free and is published under a Creative Commons license.
